I am currently working as MSC (Management Systems Certification) Divisional Coordinator with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)- Pacific Division Office in Singapore. My role and function include support of ABS's Marine HSQEEn certification program, attending client's query and audit request in the Division, attending office and ship board external ISM/ISPS and ISO certification audits and reviewing of auditor's reports submitted from port office in the Division, covering from Japan to Egypt including Australia and New Zealand. I am reporting to Division Manager, MSC- Pacific Division.
My past experience before joining ABS was involved in upgrading projects of two oil drilling ship.
I was the discipline leader for Marine & Safety, responsible for implementing ISM and ISPS Codes, Flag State and Class requirement. Also responsible for ensuring safe working practices and environmental protection practices were followed on board. Reporting daily HSE activities to project manager and monthly HSE matters to the company's HSE manager.
