1. Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
Actively participate in transportation planning by liaising closely with the Operations team on orders and collaborating with the Customer Service team to ensure customer orders are accurate and ordered goods will be successfully delivered the following day. This will enhance the customer value chain to achieve optimal desired outcomes through planning, execution and delivery.
Key liaison personnel who serves as the first point of contact for customers on their order and delivery enquiries. Ensures effective communication and tight follow-up to achieve seamless customer experience.
2. Local Administrator
Documentation verification to ensure accuracy and timely handover to various internal departments.
3. Haulage Administrator
Assist drivers with their cash reimbursement by performing accurate data entry of all required information from physical receipts into the database (Sysfreight). Information includes container numbers, invoice numbers, quantities, amount, and delivery dates indicated on the receipts. Verification of information is required after entering them into the database to ensure all dates and numbers are correct.
Prepare and submit Job Charge Sheet (JCS) to the Accounts department within the stipulated time frame after each container trucking has been performed.
Maintain proper filling of all original receipts received from the depots and tax invoices for Finance audit purposes.
4. Regional Continuous Improvement OLEANPICS Competition 2022
Played a key role as a contributor in the innovative 'Go Green Logistics' initiative, actively driving the implementation of sustainable practices. This proactive approach resulted in a substantial reduction in both carbon footprint and operational costs. During the competition, our innovative solution deployed through the 'Go Green Logistics' initiative garnered widespread recognition. This achievement propelled our company to secure a prestigious top 5 global ranking for efficiency in 2022.
1. MOH Covid-19 Swab Test Centre
Actively participated in the set-up of the Covid-19 Swab Test Centre at the Hospital. Assisted with front-line administrative duties such as patient registration to ensure every patient and their companion had been registered in the system before swab tests were performed.
Trained and supervised part-timers on the process and the usage of the Swab Registration System (SRS) which MOH introduced, enhancing operational efficiency and adherence to MOH guidelines. Provided essential non-clinical support by addressing inquiries, contributing to a seamless patient experience.
2. Vendor Management
Sourced the most competitive pricing for the company through extensive research and strategic negotiations with external vendors. Executed vendor negotiations strategically, securing optimal pricing to achieve desired outcomes and budgetary goals, thus contributing to cost-effective operations.
3. Logistics Support
Participated in the hospital clinics’ leasing project by gathering data on ground and providing timely and accurate updates to teammates to decide on their next course of action.
Revamped and aligned the designs of all signage and posters displayed in the hospital, innovating hospital wayfinding and significantly improving patient and visitor navigation and satisfaction.
1. Joint Commission International (JCI) Audit
JCI Audit is a requirement for the hospital once every three years.
Actively participated in the JCI re-accreditation survey in November 2020. Assisted in planning and coordinating the facility’s inspections and reviewed the hospital’s existing contracts with external vendors. Ensured required documents were expediently presented to the surveyors.
MEH successfully achieved JCI re-accreditation.
2. Ministry of Health (MOH) Licensing Audit
Healthcare organizations in Singapore are required to undergo two yearly re-licensing to ensure that hospitals are compliant with MOH’s guidelines and ensure that the care rendered to patients are safe.
Played a pivotal role as a first point of contact for the team to guide the auditors and was one of the key liaison personnel for the representatives from the ministry. Communicated effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the audit was smoothly carried out.
MEH successfully renewed its license in Dec 2020.
3. MOH Covid-19 Vaccination Exercise
As a healthcare institution, the hospital was to arrange for their staff to be vaccinated within their premises.
Actively involved in the COVID-19 Vaccination Exercise as an administrator at the discharge counter with the following duties:
● Collected completed consent forms from vaccinated parties,
● Booked the appointment for the second dose of vaccination,
● Issued vaccination cards to serve as a reminder for their second appointment,
● Updated MOH with the daily summary of expended vaccines via online submission.
4. Logistics Support
Efficiently organized logistics for internal events, including the Christmas Day Celebration and Monthly Birthday gifts for hospital staff, enhancing staff morale and engagement.
