- LOADING MASTER: As a loading master I go on board vessel to mediate between the ship and shore, regarding the loading or discharge operation. I will follow the company's SOP and safety checklist before starting the ops. I will also work together with the surveyors, ship master to carry out the ops smoothly. When there is no surveyor engaged, I as a loading master will also do calculations and documentation in regard to the operation.
- FIELDMAN: I will line up systems in prior to the ops, checking all the pumps, pressure during the loading or discharge ops. If instructed by the control room, I will do tank gauging to verify tank level and accompany surveyors when samples to be collected. Ensured compliance with safety procedures throughout operations. I will also check on contractors when they carry out work mentioned in any permits applied safely. During tank cleaning I will ensure to check on all safety, permits as there will be confined space entrance and check that proper ventilation is done, checking on H2s in the tank before any contractor enters. Before start-up of any maintenance work or tank operations I will check if the proper handover is done, like checking on the vents, TRV energy, pressure so that the start-up will be smooth and operations can be carried on as per normal.
