A highly motivated and passionate biomedical engineering graduate in my penultimate year who is seeking full-time employment. I am experienced in the research and development process and adept at project management. I am seeking a meaningful role that allows me to grow professionally and challenge myself.

• ATCL Piano Diploma in Music Performance – extra – curricular activity. Received in 2021 with Distinction.
• NUS FoodTech Challenge 2022. Won first place in the IFF’s Problem statement (Local Track). Developed a marketing strategy and a potential product to sell. Conducted an elevator pitch to stakeholders in IFF to persuade them of start-up idea. Worked with industry experts to gain insight into customer behavior and food science to better improve our idea. Developed a nutrition-rich, zero-calorie snack using IFF’s flavor profiles. Researched on improving flavor and texture of jackfruit as imitation meat.

• B.Eng. Dissertation, Involved in the development of electrically conductive hydrogel for electrocoupling therapy. Researched on biodegradable polymers to improve the mechanical qualities of the hydrogel. Characterization of hydrogels via test methods such as compression testing to quantify mechanical properties of the hydrogel and Lap Shear’s test to quantify adhesiveness of hydrogel. Optimizing formulations and manufacturing methods.
• BN3101, Biomedical Engineering Design, Lead a team to improve problems found in the clinical setting. Developed self-retracting retainer prototype to aid in breast cancer surgery. Developed test methods and experiments to test the reliability and effectiveness of the product. Collaborated with physicians to gain better insight of problem and unique surgeon perspective. Explored possible regulatory pathways and potential intellectual properties for our solution. Consolidate and present new data and information on a biweekly basis that is easily understood by all parties.
