care, Geriatrics care, been honored to be an infection control liaised nurse since 2014,
also been infection control team leader for few years. Since Sep 2022, my role had been expanded as hospital infection control nurse.
Always have a deep seated interest in infection control, ready to take new challenges and absorb new knowledge, so to advance both professionally and as a person.
- Conducting infection control audits: conducting regular audits and environment inspections during daily rounds, e.g Hand hygiene audits, isolation precaution audits. discharged bed audits, environmental audits.
-Data preparation and reporting: daily data tracing & collaborate with ICO team members to collect and submit monthly data to quality management team.
-Training: mask fitting during hospital orientation.
-Supporting infection control programs: hand hygiene day, ICLO day, nursing quality day and pandemic drill exercises.
- Assisting with Outbreaks: during a infection control case investigation and outbreak management, assist the seniors with contact tracing and case investigations.
-Ensures smooth and efficient day-to-day patient care in the emergency
department
-Be resource person for new staff and non-nursing staff
-Manage difficult patient or family at work when Senior leaders not around
