Volunteer Work:
Singapore Zoo:
- Paid to volunteer as a conservation ambassador where I spread awareness about endangered species.
- Had to do self studying through provided notes, and took tests to certify that I was educated and prepared.
- Was also a ranger at the River Safari where I engaged young children in missions and activities where they could learn more about the animals there.
ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre:
- Fed, cleaned, and interacted with exotic pets in Singapore that were confiscated by illegal pet owners and shops.
- Watched the vets at ACRES care for these animals and learned why these animals are not suitable to be kept as pets in Singapore.
CCAs:
- Was in Guzheng from Primary till Secondary school and participated in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) throughout the years, and won countless merit and distinctions.
- Was in NP Strings in Polytechnic where I picked up a new string instrument, the cello.
