• Assist the relevant Clinical Gorvernance Officer in the day-to-day technical management of the laboratory discipline
• Supervise, train and guide each personnel in conducting tests in hematology section
• Assess and ensure the competency of each personnel deployed to perform laboratory tasks and ensure staff able to independently carry out work in safe and effective manner.
• Monitor the performance in hematology section, including ensuring the implementation of quality measures, such as internal quality control program and satisfactory proficiency testing performance.
• Establish and review policy and procedure for the safe and effective performance in hematology section.
• Resolve any technical issues that arise from the performance of all tests carried out in hematology section.
• review all service records in relation to the tests in hematology section.
• Participated in internal and external audits, addressing any discrepancies or areas for improvement for maintaining accreditation standards.
• Assisted in the evaluation and validation of new equipment and reagents, ensuring optimal performance before implementing in daily operations.
