• Reference centre for lab technical included equipment, system, software and lab utility operational issues.

• Experienced lab calibration/verification/validation test data, Routine rundown/tank/LARs worksheets and authorization, test report and Certificate of Quality and COA related items.
• Ensure implementation and follow up of Quality Assurance Program (Internal/External audit, round robin test, proficiency testing programme, S&T review, Customer survey etc)
• Focal point for Laboratory Information management system (LIMS), SRF (Sample request), Lab Adhoc Request (LARs)
• Focal point for Lab Integrated Work Schedule (LIWS)
• Focal point for Lab HSSE and as representative in SMDS HSSE Committee (Year 2021)
• Assist in daily task allocations and prioritization
• Assist in validation of new test method and equipment
• Support and contribute to lab new equipment and system upgrade, eg lab SharePoint migration & Sample Manager upgrade.
• Contract Holder to manage lab contract eg, preventive maintenance for lab equipment eg, GC
• COQ issuer and ensure on time delivery to customer by maintaining communication with operation and marketing on product shipment and COQ matters
• Manage & balance daily testing requests according to customer requirements, providing optimal efficiency in terms of productivity and work volume.
• Plan and assign daily task by maintaining close communication with other department.
• Assist to coach, guide, train lab technician, lab helper and lab admin.
• Support writing and updating of technical documents eg, Equipment and method validation report, work instruction updated, Analyst Workload Monthly report, Investigation report etc.
• Custodian and key person for updating lab procedures.
• Permit Authorizer & Verifier for lab area.
• Lead Auditor for ISO17025 and experienced as auditor in BLNG laboratory (Year 2021).
• Chaired daily huddle.

• Performed task and responsibilities as per laboratory analyst.
• Support worksheet approval in absence of lab supervisors/executive or during weekend and holiday.
• Acting as task allocator and senior lab technician on duty in absence of lab executive or during weekend and holiday.

• Conduct testing and calibration in compliance with test methods, laboratory procedures, work instructions and HSE controls.
• Adhere to laboratory testing schedule for routine testing request and Laboratory Ad-Hoc Request (LAR) for non-routine testing request.
• Carries out scheduled calibration, standardization, verification and maintenance according LIWS.
• Focal point and manage equipment according to ISO17025 quality system.
• Support product research & development (R&D)
• Participate in Proficiency testing (PT) program and round robin
• Auditees for ISO17025 internal and external audit.
