  • In charge of the Avance Gas Fleet of VLGC’s. Managed the fleet with OPEX budget of over $20M. Managed team of 3 Technical 2 Marine Superintendents and 2 Technical officers,
  • Contributed towards preparation of several training modules for Ship board staff as well as for shore staff including Engineering course, LNG bunkering, Ammonia bunkering and several others.
  • Actively contributed in developing a large CO2 carrier for BSM Group bidding.

  • Having joined the newly formed Technical Management Division of Evergas, I had the opportunity to involve myself deeply into steering the company and setting operating procedures and policies of the fast-growing company
  • The Company grew from 4 vessels to 17 within a span of 12 months during which 4 vessels were taken over from new-building yard and the rest were running ships in operation taken over from previous managers
  • Types of vessels range from semi-Ref Ethylene tankers to specialized LNG Multi-Gas carriers with dual fuel engines
  • The Wartsila DF engines and MAN ME-GI engines in our fleet are specially tailored to run on Ethane as fuel.

  • I held responsibility of managing the ships (LPG/Ethylene/Ammonia/VCM/Oil/Chem) entrusted to me in a safe and efficient manner while strictly adhering to budget, while focusing on expanding the clientele and size
  • Under my responsibility were the Schulte owned Gas Tankers and third-party owners’ Product / Chemical Tankers
  • Planned, budgeted and carried out docking and repair of several Tankers cost effectively
  • Took over two Chemical Tankers on management and carried out major face lift and up-gradation
  • Remarkably enhanced the value of these assets entrusted to me
  • Successfully led the team through audits and inspections conducted by several Societies and Oil Majors
  • Actively involved in pre-purchase inspections of several ships and provided clients with a detailed report

  • Participated actively in conversion of a gearless OBO (Nantong, China) into a self-unloader for trans-shipment of iron ore

  • Planned, budgeted and carried out docking and repair of Ro-Ro vessels satisfactorily
  • A fully refrigerated VLGC (84,000 CuM) was converted into an FSO by adding necessary new equipment and utilizing majority of its existing equipment to support an FSO unit
  • I was involved in the project’s HAZOP study and implementation together with Class LR for contributing towards safety and performance features of the design.
