Professional Highlights

  • Co-authored publication by educators from the National Institute of Education - 'Curriculum Designs for Teachers, by Teachers', pp 77-104, Singapore.
  • Led research and implementation of Active Learning strategies to better engage low-achieving English Language students. Paper has been selected for sharing at the World Association of Lesson Studies International Conference, University of Exeter (UK) in 2016.
  • Initiated and spearheaded curriculum project on 'Differentiated Instruction-Helping struggling learners tackle questions on the use of language for impact'. Project was selected for sharing at the 51ST RELC International Conference on Teaching Literacies- Emerging Pathways and Possibilities in Language Education in 2015 as well as the Academy of Singapore Teachers Teacher-led Workshop in 2016.
  • Initiated and spearheaded research project on how to help low achieving students bridge learning gaps. Project was selected for sharing at the World Association of Lesson Studies International Conference 2015, Khon Kaen University, Thailand.
  • Co-organised the S6 Cluster Learning Symposium for South 6 schools in 2012.
