I am a highly motivated and discipline worker that is eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. I have a passion to serve and give back to the community hence my choice to be part of the healthcare sector and eventually, to serve and defence my country. Currently, as a Non-Commissioned Officer, I am trained to perform missions and uphold high leadership standards under stressful and strenuous situations. My willingness to take on added responsibilities had provided me with opportunities to undertake secondary appointments which shaped my ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude.
Aside from being a hardworking and quick-thinking combat professional, my previous job positions in the science and medical field have also provided excellence training ground for my attention to details, critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities and organized administrative habits.
I seek and maintain full-time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
I have immense respect for people who dedicate their lives to help others in need and by using their knowledge for the greater good. Biomedical science is at the heart of medical breakthroughs in healthcare and I am particularly interested in understanding methods for diagnosing, analyzing and treating disease.
Pursuing a degree in Biomedical Science enabled me to explore the world of science in much greater depth and broadened my perspectives and enabled me to use my scientific skills in full. I am particularly interested in areas such as oncology, immunology - especially in pediatrics. I have a passion to serve the community and emphasize with others. For my final year project, I wrote a thesis on Glioblastoma as I was intrigued by the complexity of the disease and the advances of its multidisciplinary treatments.
Although working full time and studying simultaneously was demanding, it has also given me a greater appreciation of the opportunities that a good education brought about, which in turn has strengthened my motivation to succeed. At the same time, my work experience has also helped to develop my personal skills; through the positions that I have held, I learned to work as both a team player and leader, to perform under stress while managing heavy workload, and being adaptable under dynamic working conditions.

Testimonials
To Whom It May Concern:
I have had the pleasure to be her course mate in the 47th AWO course, Republic of Singapore Air Force, from February 2022 to May 2022. Jia Tong was then a Air Warfare Officer trainee undergoing the 47th Air Battle Management course in Air Force Training Command.
During her time in 47th AWO, Jia Tong was recognised by her peers for her strong sense of resilience and team excellence. She established herself as a valued member of our course, proving herself to be a team player who puts others before herself. She was also a hardworking individual and gave her undivided attention and effort towards her training. Being very receptive to guidance from peers, Jia Tong showed an unwavering desire to improve, being very determined to never make the same mistake twice. Jia Tong is an individual who takes pride and responsibility in her work. Although she experienced some difficulties in her performance, she never once lowered her standards in her secondary duties and tasks. She stood by being an Officer in training of the SAF first, embodying all the core values of the RSAF, most notable would be her Fighting Spirit, Ethics and Team Excellence. Her dedication towards team excellence by helping her peers earned her the trust and respect of her fellow trainees.
In her role as Sports IC, she formulated training programs for her course mates to ensure that their fitness was maintained in top condition. Not forgetting to lead by example, she attained a score of 93 for her Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) while ensuring that 85% of the course achieved the IPPT Gold award, a demanding feat achieved as a testament to her leadership and dedication. Jia Tong was indeed an asset to 47th AWO during her 3-month tenure. Unfortunately, despite proving herself to be a highly motivated individual, Jia Tong was unable to meet the required standards to graduate from the course. Her termination from the course was purely based on aptitude alone. Her attitude and work ethics were highly commendable during her training here, which is why it is my honor to provide her with an unqualified endorsement for her application for revocation.
Jia Tong is a driven and determined team player who constantly strives for excellence despite her shortfalls in her performance. She discharges her duties diligently and produces work of high standards and quality. Her inquisitive nature also enabled her to constantly seek knowledge from both peers and instructors through questioning and reading. She displayed maturity and exuded confidence. Her motivation and pursuit of excellence is an inspiration to her fellow trainees. This attests to her overall intellect and ability to learn, attributes that will serve her well in her future endeavors.
Koa Jia Tong was a valued member in the 47th AWO course. Her combination of diligence, willingness to learn and spirit of team excellence will certainly make her a valuable member of any training program. I encourage you to look favorably upon her application.
Sincerely,
LTA Lee Zheng Ting, Jarret
