• Daily operations, workforce planning, managing and supporting Flight Handling SQ's aircraft handling operation.
• General management, oversight, management, and discipline of personnel under his authority.
• To ensure that his departments run well, he coordinates with other departments.
• Ensure that frequent toolbox briefings on quality and safety are held.
• Investigate customer complaints, quality audits, VR, and other reports, and take necessary corrective action.
• SIAEC training school is consulted to coordinate staff training and any other ongoing training needs.
• Ensure that safety regulations and rules are followed.
• To increase productivity, review and apply work procedures.

• General administration, supervision, control, and discipline of staff in LMD for all operation-related concerns are all under the Manager Line Maintenance's purview.
• Oversee and assist the Duty Engineer (DE) while he does his tasks.
• Deliver every day OM reports on surveillance and operational results for follow-up.
• Handle crisis management procedures as necessary.
  possesses the authority of a WAH Manager.
• Customer complaints and other reports are looked into, and any appropriate corrective steps are taken.
  coordinates resource management with other departments to guarantee the effective operation of LMD.

The DE is responsible to the Manager Line Maintenance for the following:

• Monitoring, controlling, planning and supporting the day to day aircraft handling operation in Line Maintenance in the provision of aircraft maintenance and repair in accordance with the Singapore Airworthiness Requirements and company’s requirements
• Ensure all possible action is taken at all times to maintain the aircraft on schedule and record all delays if they occur
• Verify that all mandatory checks that have been raised for the night stop checks are accomplished before effecting an aircraft change
• General administration, supervision, control and discipline of staff under his charge
• Up keep of the department facilities, equipment, tools and vehicles
• Ensure safety rules and regulation are complied with.

• Line Maintenance is responsible for certification and upkeep of aircrafts.
• Achieves all regular and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities quickly and effectively.
• Offer prompt task completion and delay management/report, you may ensure aircraft on-time departure and increase dispatch reliability.
• General control, direction, and discipline of those working for him
• Assist with flight observer tasks.
• Upkeep of department's buildings, tools, and vehicles
• Ensures adherence to safety laws and regulations
  perform any additional tasks as directed by his superior, Engineering Company
