  Create infringements for drivers who fail to comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).

Additional Job Responsibilities:

Resource Manpower & Prime Mover Operations:

• Supervise and oversee the allocation of manpower for prime mover operations, ensuring the optimal deployment of resources to meet operational objectives and deadlines.
• Ensure effective utilization of personnel and equipment, maintaining compliance with operational standards and company procedures.
• Monitor prime mover operations to ensure tasks are completed in accordance with safety standards, efficiency goals, and operational procedures.

Safety Inspections:

• Conduct regular on-site safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols for drivers and operators.
• Take corrective actions when safety violations or mistakes are identified, and implement preventative measures for future compliance.

Accident Reporting & Follow-Up:

• In the event of an accident, prepare detailed and accurate reports and submit them to management for investigation and follow-up.
• Ensure proper documentation and assist in any follow-up actions related to the incident, including corrective measures and process improvements.

Exception Reporting:

• Highlight any deviations or issues in operational performance, reporting them to management for timely resolution.

Job Duties:

• Planning Prime Mover Driver Manpower and Deployment:
  fulfill operational needs and schedules to determine the number of drivers required.
  Allocate drivers to specific tasks and shifts based on availability, skill level, and operational priorities.
  Optimize driver deployment to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  Monitor driver performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
• Communicating with Control Centre about Prime Mover Deployment:
  Coordinate with the control center to relay real-time updates on prime mover deployment and operational status.
  Ensure that the control center is informed of any changes in driver assignments, delays, or emergencies.
  Collaborate with the control center to adjust deployment plans as needed based on real-time conditions.

Job Duties:

• Working alongside with the control centre and crane operators, Container Handling Specialists drive heavy vehicles to truck the container from point to point in the port.
• Company will provide training for the new prime mover drivers to make sure that they operate the machine safely in the port.
• Awarded ITE Skills Certificate in Prime Mover Operations on 18 December 2009.
