• Review of ITP’s, Quality Plan, Weld Plan, NDT Plan and Procedures
• Review Material Test Certificates of incoming materials as per Codes, Class and Client specifications.
• Inspecting & maintaining proper traceability of the materials, Prepare Inward Material Inspection Report (IMIR) of the materials, Perform in-process QA/QC (Fabrication. Welding, NDT) and Final Inspections in shop and onboard as per drawings & codes
• Monitoring and inspection of Welding, Pre heat, Inter pass temperature, Post heat and PWHT during daily surveillance.
• Monitoring the consumable control procedure is effectively implemented when carrying out Welder and Welding consumable store included Orbital welding)
• Ensure that the requirements for all welds, welder and welding activities are correctly
• Carrying out all stage wise inspections such as Weld Edge Preparation
• Fit Up Inspection, In-Process Welding Inspection, post weld visual inspection, Selection of Weld Joints for NDE, weld repair, Installation and Erection, protest punch listing
• Attend the mom and discusses progress report and daily activity as per plan
• Coordinate with the NDT coordinator and NDT technicians to get the NDT done.
• Review the NDT reports and findings and field verify as.
• Preparation and investigating of NCR of reports whenever its required.
• Preparation Weld Summary and RFI’s.
• Familiar with different types of piping drawings and P&IDs.
• Conducting different piping equipment/instruments/valves inspection.
• Attend daily production & quality meetings, weekly progress meetings etc.
• Preparing, collecting, updating and filling all Fabrication Inspection records and status.
• Coordinating & witnessing along with Client & Class for NDT, PWHT, Hardness Test, PMI of alloys, CMM, Shear test, Visual, Dimensional. Hydro-tests, Pneumatic Tests as required for each project.
• Involved in the Line Checking and Punch Killing of Test Packs.
• Witnessing Torque Tightening, alignment of piping and re-instatements work
• Preparing QA/QC Inspection Status Report, Inspection Release note and Mechanical Completions & Final Dossiers and supporting for QA/QC related requests.
• Assisting Engineering Department for the preparation of As-Built drawings.
• Promoting continuous improvement through the optimization of the Quality and HSE management, fostering a culture of prevention of hazards and reducing risks to consider Quality and HSE.
• Manage and monitor Sub-Contractor Site Representatives to ensure that Sub-contractor quality team work efficiently and effectively at site.
• Control & monitoring overall weld repair percentage of projects.
• Vernier, OD&ID mic, Depth vernier, surface need to check raw material job
• MTC &COS verification as per BAKER HUGHES Specifications
