  • 1st Employee in Singapore and was heavily involved in covering ground works in setting up the Company's entity in Singapore.
  • Worked closely with China based legal and finance team to ensure that all documentation is up to date and legally and timely followed through in Singapore.
  • Secured an office space in Singapore during the Covid period and also linked up with external vendors to complete the procurement of office space and all other operational necessities.
  • Completed all P0 urgent hiring requirements such as Accountant, Product Director, Marketing Director and Business Strategy Leader.
  • Other bulk hiring included Software Engineers, UI/UX designers, Product Managers, Interns etc.
  • Also supported all global hiring outside of HQ China which included SEA, Korea and UAE.
  • Left my stint with Ola Chat with 26 hired in Singapore and 23 globally across the different markets that I covered.

  • Mainly supported Tech roles such as Software Engineers, DevOps Engineer, UX Designers, Data & Infrastructure Engineers, Product Managers, Technical Project Managers etc.
  • 360° hiring from Associate to Deputy Director level..
  • Tasked to run a 1 day accelerated hiring day program to fast track SWE hiring for a division.
  • Part of final round interviews to safeguard hiring for culture fit.
  • Collaborated with the cultivation team to continuously have an inflow of candidates from oversea markets focusing on the US and UK.

  • Hired for both end of the spectrum, from fresh graduate level to head of departments.
  • Part of an ad-hoc employer-branding project to deep dive and gain insights into the Indonesian market using data. Which influenced the business to recruit for a team of 6 Data Scientist in the Indonesia office. (data science roles for Grab had always been based in SG)
  • Partnered closely with the business with regards to headcount and recruitment budgeting.
  • Part of the process improvement projects to constantly improve hiring processes to improve rate of hire and candidate experience.
