I have been working part time as a sales promoter when I was 17 till I graduated from University. This is where I gotten my passion for doing sales. Joined Advanced Medi Mart after graduation as a Business Executive and after 6 months, I was given the opportunity to take up the role of Sales and Marketing Executive. In 2016, joined Zuellig Pharma as a Sales Executive handling multiple principal lines. And in 2018, I moved on to Fresenius Kabi as a product specialist focusing on renal products. Since 2020 till present, I am working with Baxter Healthcare as a product specialist in the Hospital Product team.

  • Big portfolio of products such as IV Fluids, Elastomeric, Infusion pumps, Hemodynamic monitoring device, Mini Bag Plus, IV drugs, Anesthesia gas, Anti-infective solution & nutrition compounder.
  • Managed tactical/operational daily activities and built relationship with KOL in hospitals to influence their decision making to grow Hospital Product business.

  • Managed the product Ketosteril and area of coverage is entire Singapore. Focused mainly on all Nephrologists in both restructured and private hospital, maintaining existing Cardiology and Endocrine private account and expanding into GP markets.
  • Built new KOL Dr Tok Pei Loo, Dr Allen Liu, Dr Chai Chung Cheen, Dr Sherry Phang, Dr Prashanth, Dr Lai Boon Cheok, Dr Ho Chee Khun, Dr Roger Tan, Dr Stephen Chew and Dr Loh Ping Tyug.
  • Attended events like Singapore Society of Nephrology Annual Scientific meeting, Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress, World Diabetes Day Singapore, Singapore Clinical Nutrition Meeting. Providing updates to nephrologists and educating HCPs on Ketosteril.
  • Ketosteril requires patients to follow restricted protein diet. Worked closely and shared clinical updates with renal dieticians in restructured hospital to educate on supplemented low protein diet according to KIDGO guideline.
  • Provided educational talks to pharmacists in restructured hospital to share updates on different studies done on Ketosteril and prescription habits.

Key Achievements

  • Worked with NUH Renal HOD Prof Jimmy Teo and implemented a low protein diet supplemented with Ketosteril protocol for Chronic Kidney Disease patients to be used in Low Clearance clinic.
  • Started clinical trial collaboration with KTPH Dr Allen Liu and Dr Chai Chung Cheen, comparing efficacy of VLPD supplemented with Ketosteril against LPD in diabetic CKD patients (Local population); first study ever done in Singapore.
  • Developed several KOL for Ketosteril, engaged them to speak at several events such as SHBC, World Diabetic day and weekly journal club in restructured hospital. To increase public and HCPs awareness on Ketosteril to delay progression of CKD.
  • Restructured hospital Ketosteril sales grew by 13% in 2018 and 11% in 2019. Private accounts Ketosteril sales grew by 4% in 2018 and 7% in 2019.

Additional Information

Current Remuneration Packing:

Basic Salary : $2,800

Transport Allowance : $1,200 per month and carpark/ERP claimable

Incentives : Quarterly & Yearly Commission and AWS
