• FlexSim Simulation Modeling for Singapore Powder Plant Upstream Process: Collaborated with a team to develop a discrete event simulation model for a milk powder plant in Singapore using FlexSim. Analyzed production data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in the supply chain. Responsible for compiling reports, creating an explanatory video, and designing a poster.
• Optimization of Renovation Projects: Applied Operations Research methods to determine the minimum time required for a 4-room BTO flat renovation in Singapore. Using Excel Solver, the project identified the critical path and optimal activity scheduling, incorporating sensitivity analysis, CPM, PERT, and Gantt Chart methodologies to enhance project planning.
• TeachSG Volunteering Project: Designed and proposed a structured engagement program for students with learning needs. Created activity plans and proposals that catered to different learning abilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
• Industrial Warehouse Simulation: Developed a FlexSim warehouse simulation model for a leading logistics firm to improve throughput and reduce delays in industrial operations. The project focused on optimizing manpower allocation, buffer sizes, and queue management to enhance efficiency in inbound and outbound logistics.
