I am currently a Year 2 Student studying Landscape Design and Horticulture at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I have seen the application for an Intern Job at Jurong Lake Gardens and I would love to be involved over there due to my interests.
I am currently a Year 2 student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic studying Landscape Design & Horticulture Diploma & also the President of the Horticulture Club CCA. I am an active volunteer at National Parks (NParks) with the roles of Community-in-Blooms Ambassador at Cosy Garden Bukit Batok, Youth Steward for Nature & St. John's Island Guide. I keep over 70 species of plants at home & will continue to collect plants that people abandon and pots which people discard. I believe in a sustainable future through Youth Volunteerism & Leadership.

- My work involved the curation-maintenance, education and outreach involving edible plants. Curation involved the targeted sourcing, introduction, growing and maintenance of specific plant groups.
- Education and outreach involved teaching the public and volunteers in the form of guided gardening sessions and guided walks. Every Thursday we have the Edible Gardening and Management Volunteer Programme, where we share edible horticulture skills and principles with participants and guide them in the maintenance of our edible plant collections and the Edible Demonstration Garden.
- My work also involved showcasing edible plants which involves applying landscape design principles when to ensure garden aesthetics.
- Although a major part of my job scope is in edible horticulture, I also learnt the ropes of general garden operations in a National Garden, such as playground safety, tree inspection, visitor services and security management.

- I manage and distribute new green spaces within the club's boundary so that each Exco member would then lead their own space.
- I arrange weekly EXCO meetings and to do maintenance work.
- We do collaboration projects with other CCAs such as the NP Mentor's Club with the online Terrarium Workshop Project which the participants are given a set of tools to build their terrarium.
- We also conduct regular bonding sessions such as BBQ outings in parks.
