To run the restaurant with management.
• Assist restaurant manager in scheduling duty roaster and daily operations.
• Assist head chef to control the cost of food and seasonal ingredients from Japan.
• Tallying and closing the daily cash collection and generate cashier report.
• In charge of bank deposit and Cash flow.
• Training of new employees for daily operations.
• Provide service of recommending champines & wines and Japanese sake pairing with food to customers.
• To update customer's member ship system and maintain good relationship with them.
• Contact with supplier to maintain the inventory of beverage and arrange sake testing during different seasons.
• Report sales report to Owner and Planning of promotional activates for events &public holiday and special festivals.
To run the operations of the Café within the hotel.
• Prepare gourmet coffee, alcoholic drinks (ie Singapore Sling, long island tea, etc) and prepare food items like waffle, sandwich and pastry for customers.
• Manging the inventory (ie diary products, pastry, etc) of the café.
• Planning of promotional activities for mooncake festival, Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc.
• Assist Café manager in scheduling duty roaster.
• Tallying and closing the daily cash collection and generate cashier report.
• Training of new employees for daily operations.
• Attend meetings to record minutes and assist director of operations on following up with operational matters.
• Training of new staffs in etiquette and working procedures.
• Responsible for the monitoring operating cost and cash flow.
• Responsible for the registering and auditing of the department assets.
• Maintain good relationships with relevant government department.
• Prepare performance reports related to front office reservation and transport department.
• Review Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily operation.
• Maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
• Perform other duties as requested by the director of operation in the hotel.
