Jayati founded Wear Jaja in September 2022 with a vision to offer women the perfect outfit for every occasion. Jaja offers its customers affordable, well tailored, good quality and stylish outfits. Currently retailing on Wear Jaja's own website, and a number of leading multi-designer boutiques in India. In her role as Chief Executive Officer, Jayati manages a team of twelve at Wear Jaja.

Although based in Singapore, Jayati's team is based in India and she splits her time between the two countries.

In March 2016, Jayati founded her company working as an independent consultant for leading Indian brands such as Elahe, Ensemble, Ogaan, Payal Singhal, Pankaj & Nidhi, Mandira Wirk and Malani Ramani, among others.

• In her role as consultant, Jayati helps brands develop protocol to improve efficiency of structural operations to meet projected targets, conducted market surveys, and developed an ERP system to streamline merchandising and design processes.
• As of July 2023, there are 6 brands on the platform managed by a team of 3 employees including Jayati.

Ogaan is a leading multi-designer boutique store with a large retail presence in India. Ogaan has a strong global outreach through its extensive online presence.

• Jayati was responsible for opening Ogaan's first store in Hyderabad in March 2017.
• Jayati was in charge of hiring and training the staff, merchandising and curating collections for the store opening, visual merchandising, putting processes and structures in place, negotiating and bringing designers on board and running every aspect of the store.
• Jayati also managed the Khan Market store in Delhi, solely undertook the bi-annual, end of season sales for all the six Ogaan stores and hosted the annual Artisans Bazaar exhibition held at the Ogaan flagship store at Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

Ensemble is a leading multi-designer boutique store founded by Tarun Tahiliani and Tina Tahiliani.

• Jayati worked closely with designers to deliver collections focused on target audiences and price points.
• Shared design inputs with designers to align with Ensemble’s aesthetics to ensure a smooth buying process.
• Jayati was responsible for setting targets for the stores, curating promotional events to achieve those targets as well as training and managing the store teams.
