1. Corporate Brand and Franchise Marketing Lead, SEA

  • Currently leading three roles in an effort to protect the Disney corporate brand, grow the National Geographic, Marvel and Lucasfilm brands, increase the profile of our linear channels, and add value to our partnerships in Southeast Asia.
  • Developed many firsts for National Geographic Asia including podcast production, Tik Tok account and strategy creation, and a live Facebook production across five countries remotely.
  • Collaborated with the partnerships team to develop and execute franchise led campaigns for Marvel and Lucasfilm.
  • Approve marketing concepts from various lines of businesses including Disney+, theatrical, consumer products, live events, etc.


2. Brand and Affiliate Marketing Lead, SEA

  • Headed two roles for brand and affiliate marketing for Disney's pillar brands including Disney channel, National Geographic, FOX Sports, ESPN.com, etc.
  • Established digital services including social media accounts, create storytelling content, manage contests, and fan engagement based on the data received.
  • Developed and managed the marketing budget, ensuring that marketing spends are on budget and accurately reported.
  • Championed a number of media and digital exposure of Disney's brands across the region during COVID-19.

  • Headed regional marketing communications and PR across all markets for the video-streaming service, FOX+.
  • Launched FOX+ in four markets with eight B2B partners in 10 months during 2017.
  • Inaugurated direct to consumer (B2C) campaigns in two countries in 2018, a first in the company's history.
  • Delivered leadership stories and turned data into consumer-related stories, positioning the content strength and vision of FOX+.
  • Conducted numerous end to end campaigns including on-ground and digital efforts for content tent-poles and launches across all markets with a focus on B2C countries.

1. Affiliate Marketing

  • Led APAC partner marketing through a series of marketing campaigns to push ESPN STAR Sports channels effectively to drive subscriptions
  • Collaborated with affiliates through advertising, on-air promos and merchandise for key sporting events such as the 2012 Summer Olympics (London 2012), The Championships, Wimbledon, Liga BBVA, etc.
  • Launched a new sports channel, FOX Football Channel in Malaysia through advertising, on-air promo and merchandise support.
  • Promoted ESPN STAR Sports' range of digital assets such as espnstar.com, Football Manager game and Facebook pages through engagement efforts including contests.


2. Trade Marketing

  • Effectively supported sales team to reach out to sponsors.
  • Created property-themed advertising through various key touchpoints such as print and eDMs to reach potential sponsors (e.g. Barclays Premier League, Liga BBVA and AFF Suzuki Cup).
  • Formulated and executed sponsors' commitments for events such as the ESPN Grandstand.

  • Headed Segment Team targeting youths and young adults.
  • Conceived marketing strategies for various banking products and services such as Cashline, Credit Cards, iBanking, eBanking, etc.
  • Executed end-to-end campaigns through a host of marketing channels.
  • Established social media framework for divisions under the Consumer Banking Group including consolidating Facebook pages and messages, enhancing Twitter and YouTube, approval of digital services workflow, handling customers' feedback, etc.


2. Head of Dining

  • Led a team of marketeers to develop and plan dining marketing/acquisition strategy with dining partners and media agencies.
  • Spearheaded campaigns via various marketing channels including ATLs, BTLs, online and TV such as Channel News Asia AM Live and Asian Food Channel Masterclasses targeting over 1 million customers.
  • Exceeded targets month-on-month and for the year with a set budget.

1. Precinct Development Manager

  • Developed strategies covering software and hardware according to the Board's vision of adding vibrancy to the Singapore River.
  • Planned, provided grants and executed events along the Singapore River such as the Mid-Autumn by the River 2010.
  • Moderated discussions with various government agencies and stakeholders on place-making initiatives.


2. Dining Manager

  • Crafted dining strategies and manage manpower issues according to the Board's vision on tourism.
  • Planned, provided grants and executed local dining-related events such as the Singapore Food Festival and World Gourmet Summit, as well as reverse missions with Michelin-starred restaurants abroad.
  • Test-bedded and developed tourism products through various dining related events.


3. Destination Communication Manager

  • Successfully led global media management and familiarisation trips covering destination-related experiences in Singapore including dining, branding, shopping, service quality and BTMICE.
  • Managed communications for National Projects including the Singapore Grand Prix and Singapore Service Star.
  • Handled full suite of communications duties include drafting press releases, media FAQs, pitch documents and speeches as well as organising doorstops, crafting media replies, crisis management, etc.
