  • I manage the payroll of the crew members, making sure that they are paid timely. At the end of every week, i need to check that the working hours of the crew are clocked in, any leave that they requested are keyed, and on the 16th of each month, and monthend, all the recurrent transactions, any wage performance reviews, are acknowledged so that the payout will occur.
  • I manage the inventory of the items in the restaurant. This is from downloading the information that is shared to my management team and crew members, projection of the items to order, to ordering of the items, having the production and build-to charts ready, making sure that there are sufficient products and that all the variances and waste are captured. Every month i attend a Train-The-Trainer(TTT) session that will download all the information of the upcoming promotion campaign. These information covers the new products lineup and build, jet watch outs in terms if operation excellence, with time for hands on and discussion on how to close the gap from previous promotions.
  • I am the crew scheduler of the restaurant. Using the system, I project the next week's Guest Count (GC) and sales. The reference is taken from the past 8 weeks, but I take a look at the trends, promotion campaigns, special events that may have affected the past 8 weeks and make adjustments accordingly. I look at the crew requests, and key these requests into the system. After which, I generate a week of crew schedule. As the availability and training of the crew are captured in the system and links to the scheduling system, I can just generate the crew schedule. When the following week's schedule is generated, I take a look at the proposed stations that the crew is scheduled to be running on, the break time, if the projected crew hours meet the demand of the business. If there are any changes that needs to be made, I will make them and then print out the schedule.
