• As a senior engineer in the team, I was tasked to be a Level 2 Peer Reviewer/Approver for LB (LTM, GTM) and Proxy designs and solutions for Application teams.
• Within a year working for the Bank, I have built trust across teams to be able to deliver Day 2 services with high quality output, which resulted to me taking up Shift Lead or Tech Lead roles in lieu of Leads' unavailability.
• Proactively takes up mentoring role to junior peers and L1 engineers for their upskilling program.
• Ad-hoc development of shell scripts, Python with API for task efficiency and accuracy related to network activities and troubleshooting. This contributed to our Operational Excellence (OPEX) project.

• Excelled in regional operational support to APAC Headquarters in Singapore and other Asia-Pacific sites for various technologies such as Firewall (Juniper NetScreen and JunOS, Nokia Checkpoint, Cisco PIX/ASA, and Sidewinder Firewalls, Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls) and Site to site IPSec VPN, SSLVPN, Bluecoat proxy servers, Microsoft ISA Proxy server, and McAfee Web Gateway, HP TippingPoint IPS appliances, F5 Load balancers with LTM and ASM capabilities used as forward and reverse proxies

▪ Provided Day 1 and Day 2 Network Engineering services support to large enterprise customers in Singapore by being an on-site engineer in multiple institutions.

• Technologies supported were: LAN/WAN, Firewall, VPN, Load Balancer involving Cisco devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers), as well as Juniper Firewalls and VPN Gateways.
• Data Center engineering services such as physical installation, rack layout and RU management, vendor management, cable/power management, inventory and documentation.

• Provided Day 1 Network Engineering services support to several managed-service customers in WAN/LAN/WLAN enterprise network projects including low-level design, implementation, documentation, hardware model recommendation, software/hardware upgrade.
• Technologies handled include design and integration of networks with BGP, OsPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN, Trunking, EtherChannel, etc.)

• Day 2 Operational Support for handling fault isolation, troubleshooting, monitoring, coordination and timely restoration of Layer 1 circuits.
• Circuits vary from DS0’s, Fractional T1’s, DSL circuits, Full T1’s, E1’s, and T3’s that connect CPE and PE routers.
• Designated as a Team Lead of a group of 6 network engineers: Technical escalations and assistance in troubleshooting complex issues involving routing and VPN (IPsec, GRE, DMVPN, EzVPN)

• Delivered formal classroom training for Network Fundamentals, Routing and Routing Protocols, CCNA Bootcamps, CCNA Security (Switch Security, Syslogs and SNMP, NTP, Secure Web access using SDM, IOS (CBAC and Zone-Based) Firewalls, IPSEC VPN, AAA, IPS, EasyVPN, etc)
• As part of Regional Cisco Academy Training Center in Southeast Asia, I conducted training for CCNA Security to other Cisco Instructors in the Philippines, including Cisco Core Council officers, as well as in Indonesia (2009) and Singapore (2010)
