Advisor to the CEO and responsible for and managed all aspect of the 30,000 employees organization.

OPERATIONS & SAFETY

  • Led a team of professionals from diverse domains and agencies to achieve large scale National Level Security Operation success. Eg 2018 Trump Kin Summit in Singapore, Annual NDP security Operations, managing up to 500,000 crowd and hundreds of stakeholders in NDP2015
  • Plan, Resource, Execute. Monitor and Manage more than 3000 soldiers annually to execute 24/7 security operations across Singapore, including Jurong Island and Sembawang Wharf.
  • Developed analytical frameworks, data models and relevant insights to support prioritization, scoping and effective decision-making throughout organization.(Eg Safety and Operations domains)
  • Improve operations through technology by automating client correspondence, record tracking and data communications. - Enhance Camp access system and client experience

CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT

  • Lead and Manage various multi-millions projects at the SAF and Whole of Government level. - Eg. Integrated Command and Control system between SAF and SPF (Approx $96 millions) ; Smart SAF Camp access control and perimeter security system across 51 camps across singapore. ( Approx $67 Millions)
  • Business Development and Future Proofing the Organization. Designed, reviewed and implement Next Generations Island Defence operational concept and all its supporting plans.

TRAINING

  • Responsible for the management and competency training and operational readiness of 6 Brigade HQs and the Division/Task Force HQ. (Approx 4000 Commanders and Soldiers)

OTHERS

  • Responsible for HR management . Guide and oversee HR department in Recruitment & Retention Strategy for 30,000 active and reserved personnel across extreme profiles.. Manage Performance Assessment, Awards Allocations and People Development . Design a HR flow system to ensure deployment and potential optimization for our people. Coach and mentor selected personnel with high potential
  • Responsible for the Financial and logistic Audit system. Design and enforced compliance of Finance and logistic Policy,.

TRAINING AND TRAINING DEVELOPMENT

  • Solely responsible to Lead and Manage a Training Institute to the 4 different Special Forces and Commando schools under my charge. (Basic staffing of about 150 trainers and commanders) Includes The SAF Red Lions, Ranger school, Airborne School)
  • Design, developed, review the training curriculum of SAF Commandos and Special Forces.
  • Responsible and oversees the Planning, Resourcing, Execution and Safety of various level of high risk Commando/Special Forces training.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Manage senior leadership under my charge, as well as Higher HQ.
  • Manage external stakeholders such as Soldiers Parents, as well as renown foreign counterparts from all over the world.

RECRUITMENT

  • Responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of employees and talents for the SAF Commandos and Special Forces
  • Drive the Design and Implementation of Selection Criteria of Commandos and Special Forces recruits.

CONCURRENT APPOINTMENT

  • Deputy Commander (SAF ACTION GROUP - Responsible for the Planning, Development, Training and Operational Readiness of SAF Counter Terrorist Force. (more than 300 personnel)
