- food pathogen testing and agar-making.
I learned to test the presence of pathogens in food and water samples, prepare my own sterilized agar media, - pipetting/streaking of media and autoclaving biological waste bags
- helping out in lab housekeeping after my working hours such as packing agar media
This allowed me to contribute to ensuring the safety of food samples from various food outlets and businesses.
