During my short time in Starbucks as a part timer, I acquired important life skills like communication, time management, problem solving and teamwork. Working as a barista is fast paced as we had to work under immense pressure to complete orders within a certain timeframe, whilst also paying attention to details. Overall, being a barista was a good learning moment for me at a pivotal moment in my younger years.

Working as a part time sales assistant provided me with the ability to communicate well with my customers and applying sale techniques. My responsibilities were to increase sales, ensure smooth operating business and be service minded.

While working as a part time sales assistant, I gained skills like teamwork, organization and time management. My responsibilities were to handle cash and stock inventory as well equipping myself with communication skills.
