1. To ensure Business-as-usual for operation and maintain lifespan of equipment such as:

• Provide onsite technical support
• Commission new medical equipment
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment

2. To plan and execute project for the organization’s upgrade such as:

• DI1, Dialysis Centre, Dental clinic– oversee the installation of new medical equipment and relocation of existing equipment in the new setup and ensure the project smoothness for on time opening of the facilities
• EOS – to compile all medical equipment’s end of service status for AH and NUHS for budget optimization and check for data accuracy in the database
• Mini project that is beneficial for the team and department – create a manual guide for medical equipment troubleshooting’s steps, intern’s induction files as well as simple workflow for work process

3. To effectively prepared for unexpected events such as pandemic/mass casualty through:

• Co-in charge Emergency Planning – planned battery maintenance schedule for EP equipment, deployed EP equipment , organized and maintained the tidiness of the EP store, executed ad-hoc project and established contract for EP equipment for cost effective purposes.

4. To enhance the value of internship which beneficial to the students and department such as:

• To mentor student internship project – brainstormed the project for the intern to undertake
• To impart technical skills to the intern and provide them technical knowledge and shared the work process within the department

In charge areas: Diagnostic Imaging, Main Operating Theatre, Day Surgery Operating Theatre, Endoscopy Centre, Dental Clinic, Ambulatory Ward, Wards, Clinics, CMC, Orthopedics Centre

• To provide onsite technical support in Main Operating Theater and Emergency Department, commission new medical equipment, carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of medical equipment
• To liaise and coordinate with external contractor and internal team such as users for equipment maintenance schedule as well as spare part replacement for faulty equipment
• Establish new contract for medical tester calibration
• Update and maintain proper documentation for medical equipment
• In charge areas: Laboratory, Specialist Outpatient Clinic, Radiology Department, Sleep Lab, Main Operating Theatre, Inpatient wards and Emergency Department

• To execute preventive and corrective maintenance
• To provide onsite technical support in Specialist Outpatient Clinic
• To liaise with external vendors on replacement of faulty spare parts
• To request quotation and raise purchase request
