M&E Engineer

  • Prepare project schedules and progress reports to ensure timely delivery of M&E systems
  • Attending and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that mechanical and electrical systems are installed and integrated properly in construction projects
  • Prepare the coordination drawings and liaise with architectural and design department
  • Review drawings and specifications for M&E systems to ensure they meet the project requirements and codes of standards before carry out the works
  • Manage and control M&E sub-contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely to ensure that works on site are carried out according to specifications / drawing
  • Arrange and conduct site inspections and testing & commissioning activities to ensure M&E systems are installed and functioning properly
  • Coordinate with building owners, clients, and maintenance staff to provide technical support and guidance regarding M&E systems
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental policies related to M&E systems
  • Manage and recorded all documentation related to tests, QAQC defect rectification and drawings
  • Prepare weekly report, monthly report with accurate photograph for progress and technical meeting.

  • Arrange and monitor control of manpower arrangement for A&A project works and tenancy department of minor A&A works
  • Prepare method of statements, risk assessment and submission of name list to ensure compliance to specifications
  • Review project specifications and technical, tender clarifications before starting the projects
  • Prepare the pre-con site survey reports and if need, discuss with the drafter team to prepare the shop drawing accordingly
  • Prepare costing sheet to compare from supplier quotation and follow up the confirmation for quotation
  • Carry out the project planning, design material requisition, cost control, project supervise and documentation
  • Monitor the site installation to comply with codes of practices and in-house building standard
  • Attending site progress meetings, other relevant authorities RI inspection and construction weekly meeting
  • Make sure timely and smooth progress of works to catch up the dead line
  • Supervision of workers and sub-contractor to make ensure safety regulation and compliance of works on site
  • Prepare the documentation of all test report, photos, as-built drawing for preparing OMM
  • Follow up and chasing with submission team for Full submission and MAA jobs to get the FSC certificate as per client requested target date
  • Prepare VO works according to site condition before proceed the works get confirmation with client
  • End of the year comparison for VO performance works and target to get more next year
  • Prepare the monthly progress claim and follow up the certification for payment
  • Verify the sub-contractor claiming and check the quantities tally with on site and drawing.
