• Develop and mentor local Superintendents in job performance areas
• Create training plans for Electrical/Instrumentation workforce
• Implement SHE policy and see improvement plan in the Electrical/Instrumentation Department
• Advise Management on areas of improvement to increase plant availability using modern and effective maintenance systems
• Review materials , spares and cost within the department and advise management on cost saving opportunities.
• Review project documents and advise Engineering team for site implementation
• Site Lead major projects E&I for PTFI in conjunction with the EPCM during implementation of the Project. Successfully Commissioned and Started Up the SAG 3 Project as part of a larger expansion scope at PTFI.
• Shutdown planning and implementation for the E&I department
• Technical advisor for national counterpart in creating and managing capital and operating budget for the E&I scope to meet required targets.
• Technical advisor to national counterpart to provide and manage safe equipment maintenance plans for execution safely.
• Liase with local and international equipment vendors in technology advancement and mentor the team in safe and efficient implementation.

• Supervision of a crew of technicians and supervisors
• Reviewing and implementation of SOPs for plant maintenance systems ensuring the safe implementation
• Implementation of Planned Maintenance Systems
• Plant performance plans and maintenance and continuous improvement
• Plant monitoring and assisting Process Operations teams in troubleshooting and improvement of plant performance
• Achieving set targets for KPIs set for plant and maintenance operations
• Implementation of HSE systems and enforcing the crews in implementation of these systems
• Commissioning of new plant systems and installations
• Review of spares usage and procurement with Planning teams to improve availability within the Instruments group
• Attending to all technical queries as per need of various clients in and outside the organisation
• Implementation of training and development programs for the technicians and supervisors as part of continuous

skills improvement.

• Planning and maintaining the budget forecast for the department and control. As well as implementation of cost control measures but maximising efficiency.
  

• Review of construction issued documentation and adherence to standards and design by construction teams
• Pre checks of all instruments and electrical equipment before it is issued for construction
• Ensuring all instruments are calibration checked and meet design specification by engineering
• Working with Engineering team in implementation of commissioning schedules and construction work.
• Ensuring HSE standards are adhered to with all crews on the construction site
• Commissioning of ABB ACS800 series VSD and DOL for motors up to 500kW and LV MCCs switchgear
• Pre checks and commissioning of auxiliary equipment including Compressors , Dryers , Chillers , Media Filters
• Ensuring the client specifications are met by construction and commissioning crews during the project
• Red-lining and documentation of all commissioning documents for the E&I teams to be issued as as built drawing for us for the client.
• Supervision of vendors commissioning various equipment and ensuring that design standards and efficiency of equipment is met to client standards.
• Issuing daily reports to planning and management and job scheduling
• Any other duties as assign by Commissioning Manager.
  
  

• Supervision of instruments installation construction crew
• Issuing drawings and specifications to construction teams
• Maintaining client requirements and specifications and meeting construction targets
• Ensure safe work practices are adhered to in line with client HSE policy
• Issuing daily construction progress reports for management and planning purposes
• Assist Commissioning teams in setting up , configuration and commissioning of instruments.
• Any other duties assigned by management

• Ensuring all instruments are pre checked and calibrated before installation by construction crews
• Commission plant network system , DCS and field communication panels.
• Review and redline documents where necessary and update to Project Engineering team.
• Supervise vendors during commissioning and making sure design criteria's are followed , implemented and tested.
• Ensure construction crews meet deadlines for installations and meet safety standards
• Maintain HSE standards and implementation for commissioning crews and construction crews
• Handling document transmittals to client document control systems
• Attending to technical queries from construction and client teams and resolving them

• Supervision of construction crew doing instrumentation installations
• Review and maintain client standards and ensuring all installations meet clients requirements
• Ensuring crew meets HSE requirements and safe working conditions maintain the safety of my crew
• Liase with commissioning and engineering teams on any issues and queries arising from construction related issues.
• Control material usage during the project
• Daily work plan for crews and implementation and reports preparation for management
• Any other instrumentation duties as requested by the client and commissioning crews
