  • Developed a strong passion for H2 English Literature despite not studying the subject at the O Levels, championing a growth mindset to catch up with my peers who had prior experience studying English Literature at the O Levels
  • Consistently in the 80-100th percentile, scoring an A at the JC2 Preliminary Examinations
  • Attended a masterclass on Language, Text and Performance on Hamlet hosted by NUS to deepen my literary insights and interpretations
  • Attended the 6th A-Level Literature Student Seminar for H3 students where I learnt about crafting research papers and had literary discussions with other H3 students
  • Currently studying the texts Hamlet by Shakespeare, Measure for Measure by Shakespeare, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, New Selected Poems by Elizabeth Jennings and Ariel by Sylvia Plath
  • Analysed The Remains of the Day and An Artist of the Floating World by Kazuo Ishiguro as part of my H3 English Literature NUS-MOE HSSR coursework

  • Participated in multiple environmental cleanups around Singapore in places such as MacRitchie Reservoir
  • Helped out at the Soup Kitchen by Willing Hearts which distributes meals to people such as the disabled, low income families and migrant workers by packing lunch boxes, preparing ingredients and moving logistics around
