- Manage my own trading book comprising Interest Rate Futures and Swaps across USD, AUD, EUR, GBP markets as well as FX spot.
- Work closely with sales teams to execute Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, and long-dated FX products (swaps, outright) as well as to drive and enhance customer flows across G10 and Emerging Markets (EM) rates.
- Lead the daily Global Markets Update Call across APAC where I present the latest news, monetary policy decisions, economic data prints, and movements in both the FX and Rates markets.
- Communicate with inter-branch traders and our in-house economist and strategist to discuss trade ideas and macroeconomic themes.
- Collaborate with the operations team to resolve trade issues, such as mismatch of payments, clearing of trades, and amendment of trades.
- Prior to being selected into the Rates trading team, I successfully completed the Bank’s Global Markets Graduate Programme where I previously rotated across FX and Rates Trading, Solutions Sales, and Treasury.
