I have gained a deep interest in Data Science & Quantitative Finance with several years of experience in the IT industry. I have developed academic exposure to finance concepts (Corporate Finance, Treasury Management, Investment Analysis, International Finance & Derivative Securities), accounting concepts (Technology and Accounting Processes, Management Accounting, Contemporary Financial Accounting, Accounting Theory and Accountability, Auditing & Taxation), business law concepts (Workplace Law, Finance Law, Company Law, and Alternate Dispute Resolution) during my studies in Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance. Since entering the workforce, I believe in long-life learning. After I have completed my Bachelor's Degree, I continued my education with NICF- Professional Diploma in Data Science awarded by Lithan Academy, Specialist diploma in Business Analytics awarded by Republic Polytechnic as well as short courses run by NTUC learning hub funded by IBF and Wiley Certified Data Analyst certification run by Gen Infinity Academy. After attending these courses, I gained knowledge in programming languages (Python, R & SQL), software tools (MS Excel, SAS Viya, Orange, Azure Machine Learning Studio), and Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, and Qliksense) as well as mathematics and statistics. To enhance my knowledge and to stay relevant & updated further, I am currently pursuing a Specialist Diploma in Applied Artificial Intelligence offered by Nanyang Polytechnic as well as an online Bachelor's Degree in computer science offered by the University of the people. An effective communicator with abilities in working with multi-cultural and cross-functional teams in the delivery of multiple concurrent projects and capable of translating complex challenges into actionable outcomes. Excellent ability to engage stakeholders across all levels to achieve group objectives and organizational KPIs.
