Roles & Responsibilities of General Volunteers for NDP 2024
 Direct spectators from the MRT stations to the Parade venue.
 Check the spectators’ tickets and facilitate their entry into the premises.
 Assist spectators with locating their sectors and seats.
 Distribute fun packs and other paraphernalia to the public.
 May be selected to escort primary school students from schools to Parade venue
during National Education (NE) Shows.
 May be selected as VIP ushers assigned to the VIP sector to carry out the above
mentioned duties.
 May be selected to chaperone students from MOE Schools for Show support
Volunteer’s Benefits

• Possess a positive, customer-first attitude ensuring that the customers have a pleasant dining experience. Maintained an extensive knowledge of 3 menus, from the dishes to the ingredients to share with customers the wide choice of food and answer questions. Collaborate with other servers to minimize wait times for customers, regardless of which tables they were assigned. Assisted in training newly-hired part-timers to ensure superior customer service and conflict resolution strategies were implemented to maintain a high level of customer loyalty.

Set-up desktops / laptops and necessary peripheral devices (router, printers. etc) for new joiners.
• Configure / troubleshoot all IT equipment including computers, laptops, printers, network devices etc.
Software Installation
• Review, manage, and recommend best IT practices, processes / service management techniques and documentation practices
• Handle and manage all IT requests
• Provide technical/administrative support to colleagues
• Diagnosing and resolve hardware or software faults
• Repair and replace IT equipment or parts
• Perform hardware and software inventory
• Source for and recommend laptops, desktops and other IT equipment to support the IT needs of the company

• Orchestrated exemplary services by greeting customers courteously, taking orders accordingly, and making recommendations when requested, which resulted in over 90% customer satisfaction rate based on feedback surveys. Persuasively introduced new menu items to customers whenever there was new menu launched.

• Energetic and detail oriented post production intern with 3 months in video production. Edited 6 to 7 videos for clients such as Ikea and ministry of education during my internship. Work with various internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to produce the video production. Sorted and edited 3 hours+ of raw footage into 10 mins of finished video with positive client feedback. Excellent communication skills and teamwork gained from my experience working as a video editor media intern.
