• Yard Manager (Operations), 01/01/2022, 12/31/2024, Responsible for overseeing all operational activities within the yard. Key roles in coordinating productions to ensure smooth and efficient operations output. Lead and enforces safe work practice in HSE management System on worksites. Stops any work or operation that violates HSE procedures / instructions or would endanger life / property. Maintains good housekeeping at the worksites. Setting clear direction in safety and be responsible for constructions and operational activities in yard. Conduct incident reviews and conduct JHA for critical activities in lifting/testing operations. Implement and ensure Yard work regulation compliance on site. Instill disciplines and set clear expectation for onsite punctuality and work quality awareness. Play key roles in daily stemming meetings and attend daily/weekly senior management meetings. Plan yard daily vessel movements and maintain effective utilizations of dry docks and yard quay spaces. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity on sections KPIs. Oversee all sections managers, ensured smooth transitions between project areas, across sites and between key stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, subcontracting, procurement, logistics, engineering and inter discipline coordination. Oversee the yard Repair team, from bidding technical queries to projects awarding, executions to delivery. Develop project management plans and work out detail timelines to support the tight schedule. Provide leadership and direction to Project managers to ensure projects are executed within budget and within the given schedule. Well verse in short term and long-term projects execution. Manage CAPEX and OPEX and responsible for administrative activities. Manage contractors work safe committee and instill teamwork with the workforces. Develop capability to enable Shipyard to participate in potential projects and work closely with different yards across the group.
• Senior Project Manager (Operations), 01/01/2011, 12/31/2019, Manage the project execution within budget and schedule for new-build, conversion and major repairs awarded. Ensure continuous improvement in Shipyard’s capability to maintain competitive edge in its chosen market sectors. Reporting to Yard Manager / Assistant Yard Manager on all HSE issues related to the worksites under their charge. Enforces HSE practices and maintains good housekeeping at the worksites under his charge. Chairs the daily Vessel Safety Co-ordination Committee (VSCC) meeting and approves permits for all work covered by the Permit-to-Work System for his projects. Implements the Site Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan (SHSEMP) if the customer requires such a plan. Leads Risk Management teams to conduct Risk Assessment for Non routine activities that are of high-risk nature, work that has not been done before or heavy lifts. Participates in the investigation into all incidents related to his projects and ensure that the corrective actions taken for incidents are implemented. Perform effective project management and planning whilst ensuring the delivery of quality work.
