· To build SPTel Global Backbone reach via Global Partnership. Procure and source for competitive International Services (Global Submarine cable network), local loops to support other sales unit including SPTel Enterprises’, Government sectors’ (ST Group and SP Group) International requirements.

· Setup international virtual PoPs / physical PoPs to service all sales unit (Lead for the special task force VPOP).

These regions will include countries where TATA has an operating License or into regions where TATA work with Partners through Joint Partner Agreements.

· Proactively manage off-net backbone operating budget against AOP Plans, formulate and align off-net backbone strategy and initiatives to identify, develop and drive for cost optimization measures including consolidation of TATA Global infrastructure for respective Product Houses (like IPLC, MPLS, IP, VPN, Video Conference and MHS team).

· Negotiate market competitive pricing, commercial terms, short term and long-term capacity agreements, Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) with vendors for off-net backbone network (Bandwidth/Fibre) globally.

· Manage off-net backbone opex budget and drive target cost optimizations.

· Take initiatives and constantly interface within Network Capacity Planning (NCP) team, Line of Businesses (LOBs), engineering teams and other internal business users to identify, develop and implement cost savings measures (e.g. on-net migration, commercial negotiations and renewal, long term contract)

· Work closely with internal team, LOBs, other engineering teams & other internal business users to understand their business requirements and align off-net backbone strategy.

Local based carriers include Mediaring, Starhub Cable Vision and Intercall.

· Customised SingTel Product offering to fit into requirements of the above GSPs and local FBOs and SBOs carriers with specific committed revenues. Drawn up specific legal terms and conditions with the legal team to customize these Products offering in specific Letter of Agreement to these GSPs and local carriers. Formalised and completed legal documentation with these carriers.

· Strategized opportunities to retain, grow and increase sales with these carriers. Main product focus are Telco services like Wholesale Voice and Wholesale Data. Fibre Optic network, Submarine cables and Satellite business (FBO). Mainly 1st and 2nd layer Network business with SingTel.

· Concentrated mainly on Sales Prospecting and Solution Provision via Sales Packaging, Promotional Packages and finalize Legal Sales Terms and Conditions to be offered to the GSPs.

· Periodic travelling required to meet the main purchaser of these customers in their HQ in Hong Kong and Europe (London and Frankfurt).
