• Supported engineering design development through analysis and simulation of prototypes and 3D computer models such as Siemens NX and CREO Parametric.
• Construct proof of concept and prototype using 3D printing and also in house sheet metal samples to get a hands on and actual representation of the concept design.
• Tolerance analysis on crucial parts on components to ensure the fitting is right with no interferences.
• 2D engineering drawing with proper geometrical tolerancing.
• Problem solving using various tools such as fishbone diagram, 5 Whys & FMEA.
• Stress/ strain analysis on metal and plastic parts using simulation software (Creo parametric). This is to check the deformation of the parts under certain about of stress.
• DFM tooling for plastic molding and sheet metal parts for tooling design efficiency and manufacturability.
• Product life cycle management after mass production.

Job Responsibility

• Designs, develops, documents, prototypes and validates new printer products under the direction of development teams.
• Facilitate 3D designs of printers and ensure its spec is as per requirement
• Complete design, manufacture, assemble, validate, debug and testing of new printers.
• Work with customers, engineering team and production to solve problems during development all the way to mass productions.
• Packaging design on finished goods by using CAD and ANSYS simulation to ensure G-value is able to meet package standards of ISTA.
• Troubleshooting when problem arise to meet project development schedule and expectations.

• Provide design and specification development support to consultants, distributors & end-users.
• Provide HVAC system solution & design to the client/ customer by calculating the tonnage required base on the allowable size and space.
• Assist in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make target accounts.
• Managing project by using Gantt Chart to monitor the project by stages i.e design, fabricated, components procurement & delivery. (Software - GanttPro)
• Supervised work of contracted employees to keep on task for timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and.
• Full responsible for a project from start to finish until delivery.
