Teaching responsibilities include: I have taught IB DP History, TOK, Middle Years Programme Individuals and Societies, AP World History, World History, US History, Psychology, Economics, and Spanish I & II instructor. Implemented MYP I & S, assessed department needs, and coordinated curriculum needs to the administration. I was coordinator for extended essays, and designed and developed lessons and units using thematic teaching and trade books. I Implemented strategies to facilitate different learning styles, while promoting multicultural awareness and acceptance. I developed alternate assessment techniques for authentic evaluation of individual progress. I created a classroom environment that encourages student participation and discourages distracting behavior. I organized and managed Student Council events with the local community. I ordered equipment for Academic Games and organized orders for senior uniforms. I was a committee member for new overseas teacher orientation, and leader of professional development workshops leading the following sessions:
