A summary of me as a student:
An active member of SCS, a community centred club, in my JC days, I have a rich experience in interacting with people of different ages and different backgrounds. From visiting elderly homes, to publishing volunteering opportunities on our blog, to tutoring underprivileged students, as well as volunteering in community events such as Boon Lay Count Down, I cultivated high adaptability and focus in the work I do.
Passionate about history and current affairs, I was involved in HACAS (History and Current Affairs) in JC1, where I participated in the River Valley Model United Nation (RVMUN) in 2024, taking up the role as Head Director in the simulation of ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), pushing for proactive debate during council session, as well as helping delegates in their position papers.
Struggling with the heavy content in JC at the start, I experienced switching studying and learning techniques to better aid in my learning. Using my experience as a student, I understand students’ strength and weaknesses and implement new ways to approach students in their learning.
Worked as a volunteer, teaching underprivileged students after school hours.
