• Learned about different types of psychiatric conditions and diseases
• Presented on different psychiatric drug types and their uses

• Observed many different surgeries including cholecystectomy, hernia repair, esophageal endoscopies

Emergency Medicine - 1 month

• Took patient histories and physical exams
• Learned about emergency situations and what tests to order first
• Ensured accuracy of patient records by diligently updating their information after every consultation or procedure.

Rural Medicine - 1 month

• Learned about family practice in rural areas of Turkiye

Radiology Elective - 1 month

• Learned about differences between T1 and T2 weighted images on brain MRI
• Observed neuroradiology department and learned about different types of brain tumors and other pathologies
• Observed interventional radiology department and learned about minimally invasive procedures such as radiofrequency ablation and stent placements
