Team Leader and Public Health Assistant
Publict Health Assistant:
- Support team leader in performing h checklist.
- Support team by voluntarily taking up task of selected record keeping of perform record keeping task as per instruction by the team leader.
- Provide input during meetings particularly while preparing mission plan.
- Help in loading the necessary equipment in the vehicles.
- Support in unloading of the equipment.
- Support in setting up.
- Perform prescreening counseling.
- Use questionnaire to suspected cases and refer the client to Chest Xray unit.
- Provide counseling to suspected TB cases about further process.
- Support in obtaining On-Site sputum samples.
- Female FA should be used as a chaperone while female client in undergoing Chest Xray.
- Provide data to GeneXpert team member who will update the sheet in shared on drive.
Team Leader/ Mission Leader
- Make mission plan in consultation with Programme Manager and project assistant and include expected numbers according to the indicators.
- Make sure all requirements for travel are in place and acquired (Equipment, Letters, Travel Request, Contingency budget (in coordination with finance assistant) and security clearance).
- Ensure all equipment are in place.
- Ensures timely start of the screening process.
- Ensure on spot sputum collection is being done.
- Ensure taking note of clients who were not able to provide sputum sample.
- Ensure timely and effective sputum samples transferred to GeneXpert center (depends on the distance from the screening center)
- Ensure to provide referral letter to the clients who have diagnosed with other health condition that needs immediate medical attention.
- Support other field members in screening activity.
Following completion of the screening activity for that day:
- As a team leader, send daily activity report to program manager including any challenges that might affect the mission or project.
- Ensure that no sputum samples are left to process.
- Ensure that all online data is correctly stored in the shared one drive.
- Team leader meeting with medical staff presenting the achievement of activity.
