Key Achievements:

• Math level representative to the middle primary, leading level teachers to participate and contribute to the teaching of Mathematics for resource development of the new 2021 Math Syllabus and matters in teaching and learning of Mathematics.
• Part of the core planning team in the prototyping of MEA (Math Modelling Explicit Approach) as an effort to make Math relevant to everyday life by introducing problems involving the real-world which is translated into mathematics to form a model which can then be used to provide information about the original real problem.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Assist the HOD Math and department in implementing the Vision/Mission/Value for the school's Mathematics department in alignment with the school's strategic thrusts, goals and directions, overseeing the lower primary levels of Primary 1 and 2.
• Oversee the program for High Ability Learners (HAL) and Learning Support for Mathematics (LSM), writing a white paper for a transdisciplinary approach to enhance the learning of Mathematics for students with exceptional disposition for Mathematics, as well as overseeing the LSM programs in school, working closely with the LSM teachers to plan, implement the LSM syllabus, including ENI and SMART tools and manage LSM processes/reporting in accordance to directions set by CPDD Math Unit.
• Oversee the implementation of the ICAN (Individualized Cognitive Approach to Numeracy) program in accordance to MOE guidelines, leading a team of teachers teaching lower progress students to build a firm foundation and provide opportunities for students to acquire strategies that will strengthen their grasp of Mathematical knowledge, concepts and skills.
  

Key Achievements:

• Implemented the E2K (Excellence 2000) for Math program as part of department's initiative to provide a tailored Math program with activities catering to the individualized needs of students with exceptional aptitude for Mathematics.
• ICAN mentor-trained and part of core ICAN Cluster Math Mentor (SMM) committee for the West 4 Cluster of schools, sharing and leading teachers in the West 4 Cluster of schools in the best practices for conducting, monitoring and implementation of the ICAN program.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Assist the School Leaders in implementing the Vision/Mission/Value for the school's Mathematics department in alignment with the school's strategic thrusts, goals and directions.
• Lead the school in planning, mapping out, guiding and implementing the school's plan in accordance to the MOE Math framework and standards to develop the 5 domains of concepts, processes, skills, attitudes and metacognition of Mathematics, in order to enhance students' competencies and conceptual understanding in the area of problem-solving.
• Lead the department to plan, implement and review in areas of Curriculum (Content mastery in Math), Pedagogy (Effective delivery of Math lessons via the C-P-A approach with the suitable use of resources to support teaching and learning) and Assessment (AfL, HA and differentiated modes of assessment catering to the needs of students in different ability-groups). Vetting of bite-sized assessments and performance tasks and level papers for weighted assessments/tasks.
• Oversee the stretch and learning support programs in school and work closely with CPDD Math Unit in the planning, implementation and advised teachers on scoping the lessons, activities and targeted intervention.
• Led the department in the planning and implementation according to the Understanding By Design (UbD) approach in Mathematics across all levels. Led the department in curriculum planning, writing and mapping matters blending with the latest educational technology to accelerate teaching and learning.
  

Key Achievements:

• Led the department and school in curriculum writing, planning and implementing according to the Understanding By Design (UbD) approach in refining teaching, learning and assessment methods to enhance the learning of Mathematics as part of a transdisciplinary approach to enhance students' disposition in the discipline.
• Learning Support for Mathematics (LSM) -trained to advise teachers on scoping of lessons, activities and targeted intervention for school-wide support programs for Mathematics.
• Excellence 2000 for Math trained (E2K), to plan, implement the stretch program for Higher Ability Learners (HAL) in Mathematics as well as coaching and mentoring new E2K teachers in the department.

• Assist School Leaders to provide rich learning platforms and opportunities for students school-wide, to be equipped with the knowledge, moral and civic values, skills and dispositions to understand who they are and who they can become.
• Plan and implement a variety of learning activities within and beyond the school to ensure that students experience being part of something larger than themselves and become cognizant of their roles and responsibilities in their families, communities, the nation, and beyond.
• Play a key role in the conduct and implementation of Character and Citizenship Education school-wide. Being a role model to lead teachers in their conviction and commitment to influence the effectiveness of school efforts for the development of character, social-emotional well-being, and citizenship dispositions in students.
• Facilitating the development and training of teachers to be reflective practitioners. Leading the school to use developmentally appropriate, process-based pedagogies to facilitate students' learning, practice and internalization of moral and civic values, and social-emotional competencies.
• Lead a team of teachers to setup, plan and implement a student leadership framework to honor the voice of students, creating opportunities for them to be in the position to influence, motivate, and guide others toward achievement of a goal.

• Setup the Educational Career Guidance Framework as part of a nation-wide prototype project leading to the inaugural Educational Career and Guidance Fair in 2016.
• Setup the Student Leadership Framework, anchored around the 8 “E” Principles and based on Stephen Covey's “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.
• One of the pioneer cohort of educators to be TSN- trained (Teachers for Special Educational Needs), equipped with strategies, knowledge and skills to address students with special educational needs in class and work hand-in-hand with Special Needs Officers (SNOs) to refer cases for formal psychological assessment.
• SEd-trained (Sexuality Education) to conduct the "Growing Years" program and activities for upper primary students to enhance support for their holistic well-being.
• Participated and presented at the MOE Excel-Fest 2011 as part of the team of Peri-HA (Holistic Assessment) prototype schools for innovative formative assessment methods.

• Coached and trained middle-mangers at the cluster level in 2007, as part of school's effort in spearheading the Innovative and Enterprise (I&E) effort in the West 4 Cluster of Schools.
