• Perform various aspects of project management accounting and financial controls. Develop and implement project management strategies and methodologies. Monitor and track project budget, forecast, actuals and commitments as well as benefits of ~USD300m Group-wide transformation projects. Analyze project performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide regular updates in form of a consolidated financial project progress presentation to the leadership team. • Lead the roll-out of IFRS 17 and bridging the knowledge gap of IFRS 17 systems (Legerity) for Singapore branch; develop and perform split between branches and ensure the adherence of disclosure in audited financial statements.
• Lead the implementation of Clearwater Project (investment accounting system).
• Initiated and implemented finance automation initiatives, such as budgeting modules for OPEX reporting, 3rd party reinsurance intercompany billing, policy loan reports enhancement (resulted in decreased accounts closing time by 25% and improved process flow and quality of internal and external reporting by 50%).
