Started my music lesson at the age of 3 at Yamaha Kindertune Junior Music Course and at the age of 5, gave my first solo piano recital. i then continued my musical training at NAFA School of Young Talents and Received distinctions for all grades of ABRSM piano practical exams till Grade 8. Completed my ATCL piano and ABRSM violin grade 8 at the age of 14. And started giving private piano lessons when i was 16 years old. My students have been getting mostly distinctions and if they don't really practice, usually a merit, hardly just a pass and none failed. Am still performing ad hoc solo and also in orchestras (Malay and Chinese Orchestra) whenever i have the time or get invited as guest performer. Have also sung and accompanied school choirs on the piano. Other than playing musical instruments, i also did part time acting for MediaCorp TV during my school days and also won awards for dancing, singing and swimming. Did some part time waitress, sales and admin jobs while waiting for my O level results. Have signed on with MOE after my o levels for the Music Teaching Scheme, completed my bond and have continued teaching till now.
