§ Redesigned delivery for Empower Circles, a peer learning platform in partnership with the Singapore Human Resource Institute, in engaging 15 participants from 8 companies to discuss progressive hiring using a world café format.

§ Serving as Emcee for SBFF the “Pathways to Purpose” session, involving 80 business leaders and community partners in exploring corporate purpose for social change at the Singapore Apex Business Summit Jul 2024.

§ Supporting SBFF's fundraising efforts, securing over $6M through corporate engagements in 2022/2023 and contributing to the success of the SBFF 10th Anniversary Gala, with 600 business leaders in attendance.

• Led sector transformation efforts : Spearheaded the Transformation Support Scheme, enhancing the organizational health and resilience of Social Service Agencies (SSAs) by driving sector-wide transformation initiatives.
• Strengthened leadership and manpower capabilities : Planned and facilitated engagement sessions with over 40 SSAs to improve leadership hiring practices and corporate manpower recruitment, aligning with industry standards. Conducted data analysis on SSAs' hiring trends and presented key insights to the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF).

• Advanced the Empowerment and Recovery Movement in mental health : Led the strategic direction for engaging Peer Support Specialist (PSS) graduates, formulating a plan for graduates to serve as local assistant trainers for the PSS Training Programme. Oversaw selection, deployment, and evaluation of assistant trainers, and conducted a gap analysis of service landscape practices in employing peer support specialists. Co-created a communication tool (EDM) to maintain engagement with over 50 PSS graduates.
• Strengthened eldercare empowerment through training and resources : Spearheaded the Empowering Seniors Project, developing a Resource Kit and e-learning module on user empowerment in the eldercare sector. Delivered training that impacted 178 learners, with 96% reporting that the skills gained were relevant to their work. This effort supported NCSS's Social Service Sector Strategic Thrust (4ST).
• Facilitated sector-wide collaboration : Served as Secretariat for the Empowering Seniors Workgroup, co-chaired by NCSS and AIC, driving cross-agency collaboration to promote senior empowerment in service delivery.
• Expanded knowledge sharing on co-production : Sourced international trainers to provide expertise on co-production in service delivery, enhancing sector understanding of participatory practices that include service users in decision-making.

• Shaped strategic direction for senior support : Developed and implemented a strategic plan to enhance services for seniors in Singapore, aligning initiatives with national priorities.
• Enhanced eldercare service landscape : Conducted comprehensive analysis of sector trends, service gaps, and distribution, leading to more targeted and effective eldercare service delivery across the nation.
• Maximized funding impact : Ensured rigorous assessment of eldercare programmes and optimized the allocation of funding, improving service efficiency and outcomes for beneficiaries.
• Organized the Seniors Empowered! 2017 Conference : Successfully implemented the conference, fostering dialogue on senior empowerment and driving sector-wide adoption of user-participation models.
• Enhanced sector capabilities through Empowering Seniors Workshops : Launched workshops in 2018/2019 to train 198 participants from 59 agencies across ILTC, social service, and healthcare sectors on applying the Ladder of User Participation in service delivery, strengthening agency capacities to involve seniors in decision-making.
• Established collaborative networks : Led learning journeys to senior homes and nursing homes, building partnerships and sharing best practices with eldercare providers.

• Pioneered Singapore's first national Peer Support Specialist (PSS) training programme : Spearheaded the development and launch of the PSS Training Programme in collaboration with NCSS, IMH, and mental health organizations. This initiative equipped individuals with mental health conditions to become Peer Support Specialists, supporting others in their recovery journeys through structured training and practicum components.
• Developed key programme components : Co-created training framework and competency standards in collaboration with mental health agencies, secured international expertise through a tender process, and designed practicum manuals, interview packages, and evaluation framework to measure programme effectiveness.
• Enhanced programme visibility and engagement : Led creation of publicity content, driving awareness and participation, ensuring programme's successful implementation and sustained impact in mental health sector.

• Enhanced social work education pathways : Successfully articulated the Higher Diploma in Social Service (HDSS) programme to UniSim's Bachelor of Social Work, collaborating with university partners and governmental agencies (MSF, WDA, NCSS), creating progressive qualification opportunities for social service professionals.
• Strengthened training delivery and quality : Led the development and implementation of training programmes, managing a portfolio of 40+ short courses in the Children, Youth, and Family sector. • Expanded accredited training options : Transformed non-funded courses into the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework, broadening accessibility and formal recognition of social service training programmes.

• Course development and delivery : Designed courseware and assessment materials for HDS105/106 (Basic Concepts in Sociology) within the HDSS programme, delivering lectures and assessing student performance to ensure academic rigor.

• Enhanced sector-wide training and development : Designed training framework for the mosque sector, ensuring alignment with the objectives of Mosque Convention 2005/2011.
• Strengthened leadership capabilities : Co-developed the Strategic Leadership Programme (SLP) in collaboration with a consultant, empowering mosque leaders to excel as both organizational and community leaders. This initiative enhanced the strategic direction and leadership capacity across mosques.
• Improved assessment and service standards : Established an evaluation framework and assessment criteria for the Mosque-Friendly Scheme, enhancing quality service and accountability across mosque operations
• Broadened training outreach : Developed training programmes for both Muslims and Non-Muslims stakeholders locally and overseas. Led end-to-end training development, including stakeholder analysis, curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.

• Optimized programme management: Led the monitoring of PES submissions and statistical reports over 100 social service programmes, enhancing accountability and outcomes for aftercare, family, crisis shelter, school social work, children's homes, and counselling services. Provided data-driven reports to the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) to improve program effectiveness.
• Strengthened family service delivery: Lead staff for the family sector, overseeing 36 Family Service Centres (FSCs) across Singapore. Improved operational consistency by developing a staff manual for on-site assessments and streamlining service coordination with a new referral protocol between Community Development Councils and FSCs. These initiatives enhanced service efficiency and accessibility.
• Increased support to vulnerable children: Administered a $3 million public fund (‘The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund') for over 10,000 school-going children for their meal and transport expenses annually.
