  • Provide PC, server and LAN operational support for our data centres (First Level)
  • Perform liaison duties, HP Managed Services Design and Delivery (MSDD) teams and offsite vendor (Iron Mountain Recall Total Information Management)

  • Perform tape backups and troubleshooting for tape backups related problems
  • Perform regular hardware maintenance (Printers, tape drivers, servers etc.)
  • Perform transactions on Media Vault/Media Operation System for the movement of the media (Off siting, Vaulting, Scratching, and Ad-hoc/loan)
  • Monitoring the backup

  • Sorting of User Report daily and dispatch the reports to the respective users on time

  • Coordinate with country site-IT to perform system recovery especially in the cases when a system crashed, or application needs to recover from many cycles of the backup media
  • Shipment the following Medias to the required countries which the information will be provided by the customer by the date requested
  • Hands and Eye Support for rebooting / restart / power-on, power off / Ethernet & Fibre cable connection status / power status and physical condition of devices
  • Replacement of cables / installation and removal of equipment / ensure all cabling works are neat after every task / conduct power test on equipment whenever there is an equipment installation
  • Process clearance for those visiting the data centre and submit to the landlord
  • Travelling from various data centre such as (The Fort) Changi South, (Keppel Digihub) Serangoon North Ave 5, (Digital Reality) International Business Park and (NOL) Tai Seng Drive
  • Performing DC patrol to check any faulty lights / DC temperature / any hazardous items left in the DC by customers.
