I am a fresh graduate from the diploma of Biomedical Science in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, with a minor in Global Readiness. My journey in Biomedical Science has exposed me to diverse aspects of scientific research. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the intricacies of the field. Hence, I pursued an internship in SIFBI, ASTAR. From that, I found that I was truly passionate about novel research, extending the duration of my research had truly propelled my research progress forward.

  • Engagement with EVOKX and Very Special Arts. 2019: I learned to reached out to organisations that I wanted to work with to essentially help the greater good. I led my choir in performing a few pieces for underprivileged people.
  • St Luke’s Ang Pao Drive: Interacted with the elderly at St Luke’s Hospital and I gained a lot of empathy and learned to truly value things essential in life. I also learned to speak dialects like Cantonese to bridge the language barrier to further engage with the elderly.
  • Appreciating our School’s Contract Staff: I led my team to appreciate our school’s contract staff by preparing care packages for them.
