Salman Khalid received his B.S. in Mechanical EngineerIng degree in 2012, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree in 2016 from NUST, Pakistan, and Ph.D. in Engineering degree in 2021 from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dongguk University, South Korea. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and Energy Engineering, at Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea.

    • Best Paper Award by Journal of the Computational Structural Engineering Institute of Korea in recognition of the paper entitled “Progressive Damage Modeling of Inter and Intra Laminar Damages in Open Hole Tensile Composite Laminates on 24th August 2020.
    • IJPEM-GT Highly Commended Paper Award by Korean society of precision engineering in recognition of the paper entitled “A review of human-powered energy harvesting for smart electronics: recent progress and challenges” on 25th November 2021.
    • Awarded a merit-based fully funded SRD Scholarship worth $72,000 from Dongguk University, Seoul, South Korea for my Ph.D. degree.
