Responsibilities:
-Handle all in-bound enquiries sent through emails, faxes or calls.
- Prepare quotations if required and advise on lead time for deliveries
- Liaise and coordinate with various divisions regarding order confirmations and delivery/logistics details.
- Perform duties of order processing coordination with various internal parties to ensure all sales orders are fulfilled efficiently and in timely manner.
- Handle day to day transactional activities.
- Liaise with relevant internal parties to manage and resolve all issues related to order fulfillment.
- Monitor and follow up on pending orders and backlog statuses.
- Attend to customers' enquiries on order status and lead time required in a timely fashion.
- Resolve customers' complaints and issues.
- Ensure efficient, timely and accurate preparation of import shipping documents.
- Prepare and check all import shipping documents to ensure that they are complete and comply with import rules and regulations.
- Maintain day to day job data and track all ongoing jobs in the JDE system.
- Monitor incoming sales orders, record any amendments made, and inform relevent divisions regarding changes.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the job is to support Sales Team for mainly in Malaysia, Singapore & Middle East.
Job Scope
The post reports to the System Manager. I am expected to work under her own initiative on a day to day basis; however support will be available from the rest of the Sales team as and when required.
Main Responsibilities

- Issue purchase orders for items related to sales orders.
- Liaise with relevant internal parties to manage and resolve all issues related to order fulfillment.
- Monitor and follow up on pending orders and backlog statuses.
- Attend to customers' enquiries on order status and lead time required in a timely fashion.
- Resolve customers' complaints and issues.
- Ensure efficient, timely and accurate preparation of import shipping documents.

- Issue GRPOs.
- Retrieve sales orders from SAP system, translate them into job orders and disseminate production job orders to Production Coordinator for further processing.
- Disseminate non-production related job orders to other relevant divisions within the Operations department.
- Maintain day to day job data and track all ongoing jobs in the SAP system.
- Monitor incoming sales orders, record any amendments made, and inform relevent divisions regarding changes.
- Assist in material planning of sales orders.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience in SAP system
- Knowledge in freight forwarding, Chain Supply
- Service-oriented mindset and attitude and able to deal with non-routine operations situations
- Meticulous and independent individual, with sense of initiative and able to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and cope with stress in fast paced environment
- Ability to understand technical drawing

-Provide direct marketing and sales support. Manage, help generate and qualify as well as process sales leads. Also responsible for maintaining customer, prospects and competitor databases and assessing, devising, and implementing marketing promotions.
-Handles all sales inquiries [telephone and mail].
-Generate new business through outbound calls and follow up on incoming sales leads
