I worked in London in the private planning sector for over 12 years, working and leading on large scale urban redevelopment projects. I worked in a senior position as Associate Director, leading large multi disciplined teams on large scale urban redevelopment projects such as New Covent Garden Market. I also led the London team for business development, working closely with govenment officials, including attending meetings at No.10 Downing Street.
Since moving to Singapore in 2018, I have led a non-profit organisation and set up and manage a company.
I am the owner and founder of Silk Flowers Singapore, a leading artificial flower company. As a business owner, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, from creative design to sales and marketing, operations, and financial management. I am passionate about innovation and strive to stay at the forefront of the industry by constantly exploring new materials and techniques.
One of my primary goals as an entrepreneur is to provide my clients with the highest level of service and quality possible. This includes everything from sourcing the best materials and creating effective production processes to providing outstanding customer service and support.
I am also the Vice President for First Hand Volunteers- a society in Singapore committed to supporting two charities in Cambodia. One of my primary responsibilities is to plan and execute successful fundraising events that generate much-needed funds for our cause. This involves everything from developing event concepts to securing sponsorships, and managing logistics. I am proud to say that our events have been highly successful, with each one exceeding our fundraising goals.
In addition to event planning, I am also responsible for helping to manage our team of dedicated volunteers. This involves recruiting new members, and ensuring that everyone is working towards our shared mission.
Outreach is also a key part of my role as President. I am committed to spreading awareness about our cause and the impact that our fundraising efforts have on the people of Cambodia. This involves everything from social media campaigns to speaking engagements and community events.
At home, I am the mother to 3 young and lively kids, and enjoy horse riding in my spare time.
