Peri-anaesthesia trained nurse, primarily supporting Dr Loh MW in delivering anaesthesia services across major private hospitals (operating theatres, radiology departments, endoscopy departments), day surgery centres and private clinics. Conduct pre-operative assessments and ensure patient readiness for anaesthesia. Responsible for providing anaesthesia care and monitoring during and after surgeries and procedures.

• Prepare the operating room and all equipment for each procedure and ensure the functioning of such equipment
• Preparation and planning on airway management devices and specific instruments for elective and emergency surgeries
• Prepare and perform all surgical procedures in a sterile manner, observing all principles of asepsis and sterility
• Assisting in airway management in procedures and surgeries in radiology department and MOT
• Ensure quality nursing care and able to relate with patient and relatives, as well as patient education
• Maintain patient information privacy and confidentiality
• Examine patient’s history for allergy or illness that would affect anaesthesia
• Evaluate and prepare patients, provide education and recovery
• Training new staffs and nursing students, as preceptor

• Proficiency in pain devices, such as Patient Controlled Analgesia and Pain Controlled Epidural Analgesia
